THE NATIONAL BLACK MBA ASSOCIATION
NBMBAA® represents the most powerful network of individuals and partners dedicated to increasing corporate diversity, access to capital and intellectual advancement. We provide access to knowledge and success through our five channels of engagement: education, career, leadership, entrepreneurship and lifestyle.
Founded in 1970, the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA®) was started by a group of MBA candidates at the University of Chicago. In 1974 the organization was incorporated as a 501c 3 non-profit organization under New York Law. Thirty years later, the organization boasts 38 chapters nation-wide, with a international affiliate, and memberships of nearly 6,000 African American business professionals, entrepreneurs and students.
About the Denver Chapter
Established in 1993, Denver Chapter of the NBMBAA® is a non-profit professional, membership organization of qualified professionals residing in the Denver Metro and surrounding area. Through a broad range of activities and programs, the Denver Chapter strives to strengthen the economic and intellectual wealth of the African American community by providing professional development, partnerships with major corporations, as well as opportunities to network with other Black professionals.

As a professional membership organization, we will increase the number as well as the diversity of successful Blacks in the Denver community by:
• Inspiring and motivating groups and individuals to take action
• Providing innovative programs to stimulate their intellectual and economic growth
• Building partnerships with local organizations, both professional and educational, who will help facilitate this growth
• Increasing awareness of and facilitate access to educational programs and career opportunities
• Organize efforts that will lead to the realization of community visions.
